The Kids enjoying Cotton Candy!!!

We took the kids to Golden Corral the other day and they not only have a HUGE chocolate fountain, but now they also make cotton candy.  Of course they eye-balled the dessert bar the entire time.  We might not go there anymore.  I hate paying an arm and a leg just so the kids can eat a spoon full of sugar!

Some things I've made for Christy

11x14 canvas
Medium size sign, with wood I had lying around.

Medium size wreath I put together.
I bought these 11x14 canvas' at Michaels, 5 for $15 on sale and painted them.
Large barnwood sign with hinges that came off the barn.

This one is very big and runs parallel with our kitchen table.

This is made out of tin that was on mom's barn, framed in the same barn's wood.

Small barn wood sign

I also made this headboard for Christy's birthday.  I had most of the lumber, but had to purchase the plywood.

Picture at Hubbard's Lake for Christy's Birthday $11!!!
Large barn wood sign
These are old hoe ends I bought at a yard sale for $2 and painted.
Three pieces of barn wood wrapped in wire.

Lalico's

Kamden asked me if he could serve supper the other night, so I told him he could.  He then disappeared in his room for a few minutes.  He never served a single plate, but he did do this.

My kids at Hubbard's Lake

I took the kids down to Hubbard's Lake the other day to take a few photos.  I was trying to get off cheap for Christy's birthday cause she came out like a fat rat on Christmas.  I didn't have much time so we just went down to the lake and took a few photos while Christy was in town.  I chose one and had it blown up at Sam's Club to a 20x30 for $8.  Had glass cut for it at L.K. Tapp for $3 and wrapped it at home with a barnwood frame.  It's not perfect but looks pretty good for $11 I think.  I had no place to hide it so I just gave it to her early and it's already hanging above our couch.  She will probably end up with something else on her birthday anyways... These are a couple of pictures from that little adventure.  I love any reason to make Kamden and Kacie hold hands.  They hate it!

I love this song and this is a pretty good version. Plus, you know a song is gonna be good when the singer proclaims at the beginning, " I feel God up in here." Heehee...

I've got so much creative energy.  I needed an avenue to release it.  Thank you blog.  Ha!
