Some things I've made for Christy

11x14 canvas
Medium size sign, with wood I had lying around.

Medium size wreath I put together.
I bought these 11x14 canvas' at Michaels, 5 for $15 on sale and painted them.
Large barnwood sign with hinges that came off the barn.

This one is very big and runs parallel with our kitchen table.

This is made out of tin that was on mom's barn, framed in the same barn's wood.

Small barn wood sign

I also made this headboard for Christy's birthday.  I had most of the lumber, but had to purchase the plywood.

Picture at Hubbard's Lake for Christy's Birthday $11!!!
Large barn wood sign
These are old hoe ends I bought at a yard sale for $2 and painted.
Three pieces of barn wood wrapped in wire.

Here is a lot of the stuff I've made recently Angie. I think you might have seen some of them, but couldn't remember which ones.

Angie - Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure I would be the best business partner. I lack motivation. LOL I honestly made most of that stuff for your "Pre Christmas Party" at our house, but everything I made, Christy said, "Just give that one to me and make another one to sell." So I got kinda discouraged. Then Papaw got sick and it just never happened, unfortunately. If I get a chance, I'll make some more stuff and you can keep it or sell it or whatever...

Michelle - Thanks for the kind words. I bought Christy a new bed set for christmas so we had to change the room decor. I was kinda limited on comforter colors because our walls are chocolate and I didn't wanna paint. Wasn't sure what it would look like. Glad you like it. As far as teaching Anthony, I'm compelled to quote the late great radio host, Bernard Meltzer who graced the air waves, between 1967 and into the 90's until he lost his battle to Parkinson's disease in March of '98. He once said, "The woods would be a very silent place if no birds sang except those who sang best." You tell Anthony to just "sing" and it will be great. He doesn't need a teacher, nor does it have to look perfect. Ha!!!

Ok.Seriously, the great thing about primitive/rustic stuff, it's not supposed to be perfect.

Angie - Ha! Rich? I'm not sure that would be fair to Angela. I slap some paint on a board and she's making pillows, bags, and pictures, etc.??? Well...on second thought? Ha! Thanks Angie!

Chuck - Thanks big bro!

Melissa - I wish I could be like Angela. She's got biscuits in the oven, sewing pillows, teaching the kids, and keeping the house, all at the same time. And taking a picture of all of it to boot. She's like Supermom, armed with a camera and mixing spoons!!! Ha! I would try to be like you but if I worked at the bank, I would eat all of the suckers and those Bath & Body Work aprons wouldn't compliment my figure. :(
